WHO WE ARE

Mission

The National Policy Network of Women of Color in Blockchain (NPNWOC) advocates for inclusion in crypto. The organization partners with blockchain enterprises, the private sector, and institutions to promote female industry leaders building products and services on the technology. Its mission is to ensure the voices of innovators of color are part of the policy debate regarding the emerging cryptoeconomy.

Founder

Cleve Mesidor leads the National Policy Network of Women of Color in Blockchain and is author of “THE CLEVOLUTION: My Quest for Justice in Politics & Crypto.” Mayor Muriel Bowser recently appointed her to the DC Innovation and Technology Inclusion Council. In March 2021, she will be an official SXSW speaker discussing diversity in tech. A Washington insider, she served as an Obama Presidential Appointee, a senior staffer in Congress, and in the leadership of national political campaigns. Cleve is a Howard University alumna and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

We convened the inaugural Congressional Briefing of Women of Color in Blockchain in 2019. We will host the National Briefing of Women of Color in Blockchain to commemorate Women's History Month in March 2021.
